Ascension EAP Staff
When reviewing counselor biographies, remember that a good match is rooted in the purpose of counseling: seeking help when current approaches are no longer effective. Good counselors are reflective listeners who may ask difficult questions to aid your growth, offer new perspectives, and support your journey forward. A good match isn't based on shared beliefs or finding someone who agrees with you. You are the expert in your life; a counselor's role is to listen, understand, and invite you to explore yourself differently, as well as connect you with growth resources. You can call 1-800-540-3758 to speak with an EAP intake counselor for guidance on finding a good fit.

I value showing up for my clients with honesty and integrity because processing thoughts, feelings and emotions deserves both. My intention is to empower my clients to heal as a whole person, body, mind and spirit. Because of this, I strive to offer a safe, comfortable space where clients are able to explore, heal, grow and thrive. I continually nurture these relationships with empathy and authenticity.
